Official company representatives
Who is official representative for the company?
An official company representative is a person, who is entitled to represent the company, according the National Board of Patents and Registration Finland. Person can be entitled to represent the company alone, or together with other company representatives.
What can person do, who is entitled to represent company alone?
If, according to company's signing policy, person is entitled to represent company alone, he can confirm new permissions and main users, and login to target service. In other words, person has full permissions to operate, without any restrictions.
What can person do, who is entitled to represent company together with other company representatives?
If, according to company's signing policy, person is entitled to represent company together with other company representatives. He can confirm main users together with other company representatives. He can't however confirm new permissions and is not allowed to login to target service.

What is main user?
Main user is a person who has been authorized by company representatives, according to company's signing policy. Each company can have more than one main user.

Do we need a main user?
Main user is required, if a company has no one who is entitled to represent company alone (according to company's signing policy). In this case company representatives, who are entitled to represent company together, have to confirm main user together.
If a company has a representative, who is entitled to represent the company alone, the representative can confirm the main user alone. In this case the main user is not required, but recommemded.
Who do I confirm a main user?
The main user is confirmed by selecting a company and adding the required information for the main user. If the confirmator is not authorized to represent company alone, after own confirmation the representative can invite another company representative to activate the main user right. The main user right becomes active only when confirmed by all company representatives, according to company's signing policy. The main user registers for the service, by following the instructions in the received email.
